Stevlynn spends e night in grandparents' bed
When Stevlynn was first born we didn't have any help in looking after the baby - it was essentially the family and us round the clock.
Grandparents YEN would take turns to bathe her every morning on weekdays and SS on weekends for the first month - for I was in confinement and confinement mummies are not supposed to touch water or so the old Chinese belief went.
The first few nights were tough with Stevlynn having to adjust to the new environment and her being a small baby was scared of cold. To top it off both SS and I were tired after a day of work for him and for me a day of round the say care.
In a bid to remain sane Stevlynn slept with grandparents YEN whilst we had our much needed sleep.
And tonight she's sleeping with them again - for we are going away to Taiwan for the rest of the week and grandparents YEN would miss her much ( I believe)
I encourage that - for one it builds a stronger bond ( on top of a vert strong bond) and it's grandparents time with her
My dear baby Stevlynn: mummy wants you to remember that you are very loved by the people in your life!!! These are the moments of your very young life which you may not remember but mummy feels you need to know about.
Her pearlies smile - her signature with never fails to bring us all SMILES!
