SS & I always thought that marriage would change our lives - but we were wrong.
Other than an additional ring on his finger and an additional 2 on mine, things were pretty much the same.
We were both striving for our careers and saving up for the upcoming house (and still is).
We were always thinking of what to do on our WRX etc etc.
Shortly before a year we were into our marriage starting a family came to our minds.
And BOY, did things change.
With a challenging pregnancy and me gaining weight like nobody business; we thought that it was a big change. And again we were wrong.
The change REALLY came when Stevlynn was born.
We became parents, and is still learning how to.
And I, still have that post pregnancy weight of excess 10KG to lose (sighs)
Yes, i do miss how i look, and how simple our lives used to be, but i don't miss life without Stevlynn - with the exception of my old clothes and my old weight (haha)
Everyday with Stevlynn is a JOY, a true joy that we can't explain.
Someone so tiny, with no words & independence, Someone whom we love truly with all our hearts.
It also bonded the both of us in a different way, a shared responsibility for this little being that changed our lives forever.
I yearn to be the old me in weight and I WANT to be in my old clothes.
Am planning to work towards that after our TWN trip, which will also mark the end of my breastfeeding journey; with excess of 60 litres to last her for a longer journey (hopefully till when she hits 1 or beyond)
