Happy Bday Linda & ME time (Mummy's Day Off)
For the first time since the birth of Stevlynn, i had some ME time with my lovely girls @ work - to celebrate Linda's birthday!
Happy Happy Bday Linda, glad you had a wonderful surprise with the present that Swati put together; especially what's in the green box! (hah!)
So as i was out having my ME time, Stevlynn had to be cared for by someone right? And that someone is SS (but of course!) he made that special effort to come home early (as my date started at 6PM) and sent me off with the little one in tow. He didn't have it easy, cuz she fussed before it was her mealtime, and surprisingly gulped down 110ML in a feed (rarely happens) and was grouchy cuz mummy wasn't around. But all in all, i would say, good ME time, and good daddy & daughter bonding session. this should happen MORE!
I am considering using the modern cloth diapers for Stevlynn, in a bid to 'save the world' and hopefully 'save my pockets as well' looking at the rate she's using disposables - may make me go broke in no time or murder the environment. will spend some time thinking about this one
