Happy Baby - Not! & Going Out
I think Stevlynn's one of those babies who go out ALL the time (i.e. on a daily basis) for several reasons.
1 is that she is fully breastfed at the breast throughout the day other than the wee hours feeds; so she is 'tied' to her 'MooMoo Cow'
2 is that her 'Moo Moo Cow' (ME) cannot stand being cooped up at home with nothing to do
3 is that since i am going to spend time with her, why not expose her to the outside environment so that she will not be stranger shy or scared of loud noises and fuss when she is outside
She's been relatively good whenever we go out, allowing me to enjoy shopping, ME time and some time together bonding with her. In fact she loves to KPO and look at the lights and surroundings. (given the Xmas & CNY period) I would say she loves the hustle and bustle. and at the end of the day, she would come back a happy baby.
However, today's DIFFERENT.
>> she refused to sit in her stroller for long (luckily i went out with mummy so an extra set of hands) p/s: long is defined as more than an hour plus without fussing.
>> she went home a fussy baby and had her first ever crying bout. and seriously, her cries were painful to both my ears and heart. i had to carry her for 10 mins afterwhich slowly managing to calm her down and put her to bed (this is a first for me, and it falls on the eve of her 2nd month). it sounded as though she was in pain but i searched all over,no signs of anything indicating pain. i touched everywhere, and everywhere she was crying as loud. we were in the midst of sponging her down for her night change when she wailed, so i had to hug and coax her wrapped in a blanket with her naked!
definitely a first for us, and she has definitely proven that she has well developed lungs (the jabs i took for my preventive action for my complications at week 32 proved it's worth) - a fact that we have forgotten since her 1st week of birth.
How fast time flies, she's 2 months old today!
