SS Girls Nights Out

SS decided that it's been long enough that he has missed his regular bowling sessions (since several weeks before my delivery till date) and wants me to go back to bowling BUT yet not wanting to spend time away from his girl. So we packed her stuff and changed her into a MAN UTD romper to match his MAN UTD jersey (cuz they have a match later on) just so that SS can have his 'cake' and eat his 'cake' at the same time
Princess was the loveliest girl who did not fuss throughout the whole outing *mummy's so proud of you*
She was happily watching the street lamps out of the car's windows and any passing bright lights on the journey there, coo-ing to me at the same time; took a nap whilst we were bowling, went grocery shopping with mummy at NTUC and woke up for milk *no fuss still* and spending time with our friends and her god-father :)
Time seems to have flown by and I can't believe that i am at the end of my 6th week of maternity leave.
Another 6 more weeks and i'll have to go back to work. :(
When i think back, i can't believe how much our lives has changed in these 6 weeks.
We became parents; learnt to care for and protect for a newborn; we got to know our little girl; we learnt her likes and dislikes; our lives priorities changed and she was #1 on both lists and many more...
i think i need to spend some time to recollect 2009; it's been such a WONDERFUL year.
I can't imagine how fast 2009 has come and gone by!
