When Stevlynn was 4 weeks and 5 days old, we attempted again to introduce the bottle to her; although experts recommend only to introduce at between 6 to 8 weeks. Personally i believe it's up to individuals. Although previously very hesitant and against introducing the bottle prior to the recommended age, i felt that she was latching on well and feeding well enough to introduce the bottle.
Prior to this we went hunting for Pigeon's teats (as recommended by KKH's lactation consultant) and tested it out with the glass bottles we purchased for her months ago (to be exact, when i was 5 mths pregnant) to ensure that the teats fit whilst getting a pigeon bottle (just in case)
We picked the last feed for the night slightly before midnight, cuz that's when she would be the most peaceful (but boy we were wrong) As we had to thaw with hot water, and the god-damn present bottle warmer didn't really do its job by warming it efficiently (traditional methods still work best).
By time her EBM was ready, she had gone past the crying-for-milk stage to since-u-are-not-feeding-me-i-am-going-to-bed stage; which made 1st time feeder SS's job easier (but of cuz he was still afraid and insisted i sit with them as he fed her). She finished a whooping 100ML only to wake up at 430AM for milk again...
This time, there was no crying wailing or screaming. It was all peaceful and she fell back to sleep after drinking and through her burping session.
2nd night was equally good, although she slept thru her midnight feed and thus we bottle fed her at her 430AM feed.
