Kids nowadays are early developers i must say.
Stevlynn LIFTed her head up sometime when she was 1 week old, and mastered the skill of lifting long enough to 'explore' her surroundings within the next week.
She went on to attempt to FLIP at week 2; mostly only managing to flip halfway to her side which now happens to be her favourite sleeping position (although greatly discouraged by experts for fear for SIDs - back sleeping only works when she's in a good mood, or is very tired) At exactly 1 month old, SS and I were talking in the room, and i only took my watch away from her for 2 seconds before returning my attention to her and i realized she was on her tummy (Awww, i missed her first FLIP, all's SS fault!!)
We've been going out with her regularly for the past few days, especially since my official confinement is over + Xmas time is just around the corner, and i need to do Xmas shopping! (or maybe just excuses for me to regain freedom Hah!) and this little imp has managed to work her way to know her daddy & mummy well. She will sleep or sit in her infant car seat for awhile, before deciding that the view on the ceiling isn't the best and fake cries just to get us to carry. Well then people wld tell us to ignore the fake cries. If we ignore, it would turn to real cries and us being 1st time parents cant bear that and pick her up - THEN, all's good and she's back to her happy baby mood!
if you think we are the only ones who are 'slaves' to her u're wrong. Grand-daddy is also another 'slave' but in a different way. Whenever Grand-daddy YEN carries, he MUST walk and cannot sit down whilst carrying her. We tested it out, when Grand-Daddy YEN is around and she is put down, she will cry. When Grand-Daddy YEN 'hides' out of her sight, she cry for a few seconds only to realize, Grand-Daddy YEN is not around, and lie down contented.
Imagine us parents & grand-parents all alike, are slaves to her.
Her rashes on her face have greatly improved and those that has 'migrated' to her head are also saying bye to us. However, some of their 'relatives' decided to migrate further down to the back of her neck! Ugh!!! We are now using Califonia Baby's rash cream to 'chase' the unwanted guests away so Stevlynn can once again be a pretty girl!!!
We went shopping today @ a warehouse sales, and bought tons of lovely clothings for her! Sooner or later, she's gonna have more clothes than us!
