time flies and it's been a week since Stevlynn came to the world and caused a 'whirlwind'
things have sort of gone back to the normal routine with SS going back to work and Clarence finishing up his leave and going back to camp.
my time passes each day pretty quickly, mainly revolving around Stevlynn
Diaper changes after diaper changes, feed after feeds, listening out for her cries.
I begin to enjoy my time with her more each day, mainly cuz she is learning new things and showing us new things each day. With her having more 'awake hours' in the day now, i spend my time with her awake lying in bed talking to her (i somehow relearnt baby language) or attending to her needs.
Things she has discovered/new about her:
- her duckling toy that makes alot of noise when we shake it. she would turn to the direction of where the sound comes from
- her many many facial expressions that makes us laugh/smile
- her neck's getting stronger and she's able to turn her head and hold her head up by herself for awhile
- her hiccups :) she had hiccups when she was still in my womb, and now out of my womb, she still has her signature hiccups
- her cries. she maybe small in size, but trust me when we say her cries does not match her size. and the way she cries simply lovable. she would cring up her entire face, and as though to 'store power' and then open her mouth and let out the sharpest wail you have heard. funny as it may seem, but i begin to recognise her cries from day 2 in the hospital. or maybe it could be mother instincts
- her long fingers and toes :) so pretty, SS says takes after him that's why
okie time to go, she needs her feed
