[massage to drive the water retention & aches away; or just to make me feel good]
i finally had my session of massage today; to drive the water retention and aches away
but the reality of it is that i will not be able to drive the water retention away
they say that closer to delivery, the mummy-to-be will have very bad water retention that can't be driven away
but the good thing out of it was... i managed to minimize the aches i have been having all week
for how long this i wun know, but at least it helps today
Things Completed for the Arrival of the WaterMelon - Domestic Affairs:
- Cleared out the Gym Room (which will be our room)
- Repainted the Walls
- Revarnished the Floors
- Fixed the Windows
- Decided on the Built in Cabinets (I'm crossing my fingers it's enough space for my clothes + SS's one as well)
- Decided on the Curtains
Things Needed to Be Done:
- Move our 2nd Queen Size bed into our 'new' room on Sat
- Fix the cabinets on Wed
- Fix the curtains on Wed
- Fix the baby cot on Mon (Temporarily in our room until her room is ready)
It's going to be super tight, but my dad, being him and superstitious, insists that we cannot touch anything in our current room, which is to be our lil girl's room until she has been delivered. So hang in for the fun frenzy that's going to happen next week.
When i Pop, all these things will have to take place:
- Clear our my current room
- Move all furniture out of my current room
- Repaint the walls in PINK!!!
- Change the lighting in her room
- Revarnish the walls (this is 1 smelly turpentine task)
- Fix the curtains
- Tear out the existing built in cupboards
- Fix in the new built in cupboards
and it will all be ready for her. my main thing is i want the smelly and noisy stuff to be done whilst both her and i are still out of the house, which is a squeeze, but as always, my daddy and mummy will do their best to come thru for us.
and have i mentioned again, how fortunate SS & i to have wonderful parents like mine?
It's going to be madness, but i bet all the madness would be deemed worth it once we lay our eyes on the lil watermelon
Some Pics...
Before i forget, we collect our new Tiggy on 22 Oct. This is SS driving our new Tiggy for the first time

SS's new hair colour - to supposedly welcome our lil watermelon. Excuses, excuses!!!
