[A long kept secret]
Well I have a lil secret that ive been keeping
or rather SS and Ive been keeping
and lil or not, it depends on how one sees it
Well we finally decided on our date, 1st march 08, ill be Mrs S
Yeap, we've been talking about this for some time, and finally we've gotten down to making it concrete *and this was sometime 2 months ago?*
We're quite terrible, the date was simply picked out by us flipping our handphones out and looking at the calendar, picking a date which was EASY to remember *so that he will never ever forget our anniversary and my anniversary present* and convenient to hold
I wanted 29th Jan 08, but it isnt a saturday
I wanted 27th Mar 08, but it ALSO isnt a saturday
*yeap, the date has meanings to us*
end up, we settled for 1st mar 08... reason? Easy to remember, and its finally a saturday
He had to do the job of telling my parents, so he did it after dinner on a sunday...
And mummy was funny, cuz we told her first, and she told daddy by 'eh your future son-in-law wants to ask for ur daughter's hand in marriage'
that is so old fashioned! *eeks*
The past few weeks has been finding out about the HDB flat thing, my criteria was simple...
I dun want to live toOoOo near his parents and/or sister
ruling out tampines though deep down he wanted to stay in tampines
Honestly, throw me any location ill be willing if it just isnt walking distance from his parents and sister
ill faint and never go home
*dun ask me why, i do not want to go there*
Well, i guess now it boils down to the planning, and god knows where are we to start
honestly, i think we are extremists in procrastinating...
We initially wanted to go away with the usual dinner thing
sadly, we were unable to squirm outta it
*grrrr*
So list of things to do :
1. To check date against the chinese calendar
2. To find a venue
3. To find my bridal shop
4. To find our house
5. To find out how to do the chinese wedding things beforehand *erms, like the exchanging of gifts and blah blah blah*
Honestly, the list dun seem that long, but i guess more things will come up as the time gets closer
in the meantime, ill just enjoy being single *haha*
So now i dun have a boyfriend anymore, i have a fiance *shucks*
and it also goes to mean that i must somehow find time to learn how to use a broom and mop, to do household chores on a REGULAR ROUTINE and not ad-hoc and as and when i like *grrr*
its tiresome being somebody's wife, but who knows, SS may dote on me enough to relieve me of such duties...
Well i did a silly thing on Monday
I actually delivered late lunch to RC *cuz that ass hasnt eaten even at 4pm*
Pple who knows me know that i DO NOT do such stupid time wasting things, but i actually did it for RC
God knows why i did it, and i might smack myself for doing so
But well, i did it. Bought duck rice and green tea, after that RC has a sore throat and insisting to eat Mac and me refusing to buy it for RC
Drove down all the way, ulu way to be exact just to have the duck rice in xiaobai
there was minimal talk, for the bugger was busy fiddling around with xiaobai, and i wonder for wat, when RC has xiaohei (which by the way, looks exactly the same other that the obvious contrast of colour; FYI even their date of birth are 5 days apart)
Well, after that xiaobai and myself drove ourselves back to work
Life's been quiet recently,
and life's been quite alright
other than the fact that SS and i were play fighting last evening, and he flung me off the sofa unto the floor
I end up with a painful back, 2 bruise on my left thigh, and 1 bruise on my right arm
he says : serves me right for playing
i say : kill the ass that flung me off the chair knowing my condition!
Whilst im typing this in half darkness, cuz for the past week, ive only had 1 outa 2 lights in my office switched on due to some light went crazy and started flickering like nobody's business. ive regained full brightness!!! Hurray, i wun go blind anymore!
Well the profit analysis thing i have to do is driving me crazy.
i ended up to have to stare at endless excel spreadsheets, its making me pa-jiao!
BCP is another huge headache i have....
i need to finish this ASAP man, else pple will be coming after my heads
