sometimes i wonder does humans know exactly what they wan?
or is it a senseless and mindless routine of wanting and seekin things?
and does not realise what contentment is.
nor stop to think of what's already in their lives and learnin to appreciate it?
that life simply becomes a hectic senseless way of life of seekin new things, 'conquerin' it and moving unto the seekin even more new things and 'conquerin' it all over again..
this vicious cycle never ends.
and before u know it,
e end of it all's nearin
and u realise uve wasted so much time in seekin senseless stuff
but den again, u realised it all too late...
some argue that life is about achievin things,
yes this to an extent i agree
for i go my way out just to achieve certain goals i set for myself
but my question thrown back is 'in e midst of achievin, have u forgotten the most basic sources of happiness and what is given should be treasured and not taken for granted?'
shouldnt a person at times take 1 step back and look at the wonderful things in his/her life?
when im down, i stop for awhile, take 1 step, or even a few steps back and see what i have in my life, and then all over ill be happy...
its a very fine line between being overly contented and takin things for granted
there are few and far apart who can achieve this balance
for the rest of us, who like me, is just an average person
tend to juggle to maintain its balance...
overall, im glad for what i have in my life now
i may had my fair share of downs, or maybe even more than my fair share
life may not be always perfect, but within its imperfection, i see the perfection of it all...
like the perfection of the special bond i hold dearly close to my heart
i see the beauty of the small small wonders life brings me everydae
